“That Playground Was As Exciting As I Expected It To Be”

Various combinations of parents, grandparents, and uncle spent the day entertaining Kina yesterday: traipsing from playground (ooo rocks) to playground (too challenging) to kiddie train (enchanting) to inflatable pool (cold!)

She was grateful and fun and energetic—a blessing for the end of this prior week, and a gift for her grandparents. Grandma got a little motion sick riding backwards on the train, but it appears to have been worth it.

I only brought three sheets of construction paper to my parents’ house this weekend, and I’m glad I did, because Kina threw a fit after the first Parade of the week failed to meet her expectations, opening the door for this outstanding castle of stamps and hearts to grace the leftover sheet.
