Here are the mnemonic number chants Kina has taught me so far:

“Draw a hook, give it a shoe! That’s the way we make a two!”

“Backwards C, backwards C! That’s the way we make a three!”

“Neck short, belly fat! Number five wears a hat!”

“Run around, pick up sticks! That’s the way we make a six!”

“Draw an S and then don’t wait! Run back up and make an eight!”

One, four, seven, and nine are not interesting enough for Kina to chant for me. (“Over and down, that’s seven. Or something,” says Kina.)
