Youtube was not the stream to be watching this year, because it made it very hard to explain what “the ball” is to a person who doesn’t understand what it means to drop one, in practice.
I wrote this one on the plane. Spoiler alert: Food poisoned!!!
Anyhow, it’s about Kina feeding a jumpy little dog and going for a run with me.
And here we are, recovering from food poisoning and an otherwise deeply-restorative trip to California, with one of the world’s most helpful little girls—a champion of gender-neutral robots and hermit crabs, and our most esteemed publisher.
